Izumi Glass

Osaka Prefecture

In 1877 (Meiji 10), the technique of manufacturing glass beads was introduced to Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, and the production of glass products began. "Izumi Glass" refers to "colored glass rods as raw materials and glass products such as sculptures made by lampworking, manufactured by craftsmen in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture."
