It boasts excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, and is used to produce summer clothing, accessories, and decorative items.

    1. The textile must be woven using one of the following techniques or methods:
    (1) The ramie used as a raw material must be "removed from the ramie."
    (2) The yarn used must be hand-spun.
    (3) A handloom shall be used for weaving.
