Kako (Kakou) means...
Another name for this milestone is "Kanreki," which means that the Chinese zodiac cycle has completed a full rotation and one has "returned" to the zodiac sign of one's birth year.

Washi paper dyeing and painting experience
(Place freely cut Japanese paper on an unglazed ceramic plate, and use a dropper to apply cobalt blue glaze and paint.)
Size: Approximately 16 cm in diameter

Experience fee
3,300 yen (including shipping)

*Capacity: 3 people. No reservation required; walk-ins welcome.
*Registration for the first day, November 14th, will begin at 12:00.
*On the final day, November 20th, the last entry time is 4:00 PM.
*You cannot take the item home on the same day. It will be glazed and fired in Arita before being shipped to you (around late December).
