Content Made with an electric potter's wheel!
A pure white porcelain rice bowl with your name engraved on it!

This is an experience where you can create a pure white ceramic vessel using an electric potter's wheel.
Using the traditional "Uchiyama technique" of Arita ware, the pieces are thinly and sturdily finished with a wooden spatula.
Yozaemon Yashiki, an Arita ware potter who has been selected as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman," and Mikiko Shirasu, a first-class IMARI-ARITA Yaki (Porcelain) ware porcelain potter, will provide one-on-one instruction.

The finished pottery will be taken back to a kiln in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, where it will be trimmed, glazed, fired, and finished. It will be delivered to you approximately three months later. (Estimated delivery date: late November)
