KOSHU Tebori Insho (Hand-carved Seals)

■15mm square single character: Seal carving (tenkoku) experience
A craftsman will inscribe your desired single character in seal script and then engrave it. Finally, the craftsman will make any necessary adjustments.

Instructors: August 1-3, August 14: Kazuhiro Mochizuki; August 9-11: Naoto Watanabe
Experience fee: 2,200 yen. Limited to 4 participants.
Estimated time: approximately 30-60 minutes
Suitable for ages 10 and up; children are welcome if accompanied by a guardian.

A foot-operated handloom is coming all the way from Shiga to Tokyo! Experience weaving linen coasters.

An experience of inserting bamboo strips into a bamboo frame and assembling it.

Instructors: August 1st: Toshifumi Tanaka, August 2nd: Haruna Ishiwata
The fee for all experiences is 3,300 yen. The maximum number of participants is 4.

Yari-mori-ki (a type of wooden container) / An experience where you weave the base and insert the bamboo strips into the frame to assemble it.
